Expander Tanks for the XT and XTV Series
The XT-XTV Series diaphragm expansion tanks come in in-line and stand-alone versions, with capacities ranging from 2 to 132 gallons (see chart). Elbi's XT-XTV Series expansion tanks are reliable and have been used in millions of installations worldwide since they were first developed and manufactured in 1975. System safety is increased because to the tank's two-shell welded construction, which can withstand high pressure ratings. By separating air from water, the BUTYL diaphragm avoids waterlogging and saves both space and energy. The product is designed for use in hot water, solar, and cooling systems and is only compatible with glycol. The XT/XTV Series aren't meant to be used at home. Because the diaphragms lack inner domes that would limit their expansion, the maximum drawdown is always possible. With each tank, a food-grade polypropylene liner is included. The Food Grade Polypropylene liner is verified per ASTM specifications for the best adhesion. The devices are all NSF61 and IAPMO certified.

Our air separators are constructed using cutting-edge manufacturing processes and quality control to the most modern ASME CODE Section VIII - Div. 1 specifications.
For standard units, the maximum operating pressure is 125/150 psi. In a closed system, entrained air is separated and removed from running water or anti-freeze using tangential air separators, which are ASME containers with tangential perforations that create a low-velocity vortex. Our ASW Series tangential air separators come with a stainless steel strainer to trap unwelcome system debris.
When terminal units are blocked, pumps are operating poorly, and costly equipment is corroding and fouling, our tangential air separators are excellent for eliminating trapped system air.
It works best when paired with our CIA-075 automatic big capacity air vent.
